Myth: The Waxman-Markey Climate Bill will not slow down industrial production in the United States.
Fact: National Association of Manufacturing forecasts that industrial production (manufacturing, mining and electric utilities) will decline immediately in 2012, relative to the baseline forecast under Waxman-Markey bill. By 2030, U.S. industrial output levels are reduced between 5.3% and 6.5%.
